Unlike most pet sitting services clients book me overnight and often for extended periods of time. It’s the unique niche I serve, but because I’m a one woman operation once my calendar is full I have to turn clients away.
Clients tend to reserve my time far in advance to be assured of their preferred dates. After holding dates sometimes for months, occasionally something comes up making a cancellation necessary. I understand that plans can change. Humans and pets can become ill. Circumstances can, and do arise, causing the client to cancel.
When it happens I will do my best to cover the slot by offering the days to other clients. I do not charge for cancellations with adequate notice. However, the shorter notice given the less likely the reservation can be filled by another client.
*With a minimum of three week notice of cancellation the client will not be charged.
*Cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice, the client will be charged 50% of the fee for the entire reservation, minus any days I’m able to cover with a new booking.
*Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice clients will be charged 100% of the fee for the reservation.
